VR Training to Spike: New Deloitte Report

Deloitte Insights predicts growth spike in virtual reality corporate training

How can an organisation train its workers to perform dangerous or costly team-based skills when the pandemic makes it nearly impossible to do so?

From unloading hazardous materials, to teaching complex medical diagnostic skills – augmented and virtual reality training is predicted to double in the next two years, according to a new Deloitte report.

With the pandemic forcing massive acceleration in digital – most notably, cloud-based services such as Zoom and other video conferencing and telework products – it’s worth a look at how this will shape the enterprise learning and development space.

“We’ve seen two years’ worth of digital transformation in two months”, said Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft.
